Base on our experience in some exhibition after pandemic, we found out that handwoven craft – part of handmade products are increasing in demand.
The main reason is people want to live more “green”. The awareness about sustainability is growing on almost every part of industries. For example, people want to change plastics with natural products like rattan. They want to replace storage plastics with rattan baskets.
Beside the natural and green, people often look crafts as an art. Handwoven baskets are unique on every pieces because it is handmade and also use natural material so it is not only about the function but also the art.
The problem is artisan or basket maker are less and less. It is a challenge for us in the handwoven rattan basket industries. In our company, we build a mutual understanding between the company and artisan. This make our bond stronger during the pandemic and after the pandemic.
We keep support all the basket weaver during the hard times. That is why today we are still exist and even become more larger with our newest factory and workshop.
